Chocolate Coconut Mounds Bars is like eating that famous candy bar that’s on top of rich, coconut cream filling and chocolate graham cracker crust so super easy and oh so delicious.

What a treat if you love this popular Mounds bar candy it's creamy filling is so addicting with its gooey center.

These bake up quickly in around 25 minutes and then spread with semi-sweet chocolate chips making them irresistible in flavor and hard to wait until they cool to eat!

Easy Step-By-Step on How to Make Chocolate Coconut Mounds Bars

  1. prepare a pan and preheat the oven to 350 degrees
  2. crush the chocolate graham crackers and mix them with the ingredients
  3. press into a 9x9 pan and bake for 10 minutes
  4. mix the filling and pour over the partially cooked crust
  5. bake 25 minutes
  6. add the chocolate chips wait a few minutes until they softened and spread over the top
  7. cool completely before cutting the bars

  • sprinkle the top with toasted almonds for almond joy bar copycat flavor.
  • substitute the semi-sweet chocolate for peanut butter chips, mint chocolate white chocolate chips, or tinted-colored chocolate melted

Rich and chewy coconut bars made easy using a chocolate graham cracker crust, sweetened condensed milk, and semi-sweet chocolate chips!

Ingredients

  • Bottom Crust:
  • 1/4 cup butter softened
  • 1 cup chocolate graham crackers crushed
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • Filling:
  • 1 can condensed milk (14-ounce size)
  • 2 cups coconut put through a food processor finely chopped
  • Topping:
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Mix the butter and chocolate graham crackers and sugar in a bowl.
  2. Put that into a 9x9 pan or small brownie pan.
  3. Bake at 350 for 10 minutes.
  4. Pour the coconut mixture over the top and bake until browned around 20 to 25 minutes.
  5. Remove from the oven.
  6. Pour chocolate chips on top while still warm.
  7. Put it back into the oven for a minute so this is easier to spread using the back of a spoon.
  8. Cool completely before cutting.
