Chocolate Fluffy Cream Pie

This is a fluffy pie with chocolate and whipped cream combined for a light heavenly no bake pie
Prep time: 10 MinCook time: 10 MinTotal time: 20 Min

Ingredients

  • For the Crust: 1 1/2 cups oreo chocolate cookie crumbs (from about 15-18 chocolate sandwich cookies)
  • 6 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • For the Filling:
  • 2 cups heavy whipping cream, cold
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • For Garnish (optional): Additional whipped cream Chocolate shavings or curls

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Crust:
  2. Place and crush cookies in a food processor until fine crumbs.
  3. Add the cookie crumbs and melted butter in and bowl and stir to blend evenly.
  4. Place the crumbs into a pie plate 9-inch pie dish, covering the bottom.
  5. Refrigerate the crumbs and prepare the filling.
  6. Melt the chocolate chips in the microwave for 20-second intervals until melted.
  7. Cool.
  8. Beat the cream until it starts to thicken, then add the sugar and vanilla until the peaks form then stir in the vanilla.
  9. Fold the melted chocolate into the whipped cream until just blended.
  10. Do not overmix.
  11. Using a spatula spread into the crust.
  12. Chill and Serve:
  13. Place the pie in the refrigerator and let it chill for at least 4 hours, or until the filling is set.
  14. Garnish with chocolate shavings or curls, more whipped cream if desired.
